Overview:
The Project Driver will provide safe and reliable transportation for Jhpiego staff, partners, consultants, and program participants, as well as offer logistical support to ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Program Support:
- Coordinate with programmatic and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of activities.
- Organize program training and logistics.
- Support program technical team in government budget meetings.
- Maintain office communication and filing systems.
- Driving:
- Safely transport project staff and stakeholders.
- Comply with vehicle management policies and traffic codes.
- Maintain vehicle logs and ensure vehicle security.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Ensure the vehicle is in good condition and clean.
- Track servicing dates and manage maintenance logs.
- Office Support:
- Provide routine office support as directed.
Required Qualifications:
- Secondary school education.
- Valid Tanzanian Driver’s license – Class C.
- Advanced Driving Certificate from the National Institute of Transport (NIT).
- At least five years of relevant experience, preferably with an international organization.
- Proficient in English.
