Police Training Reporting Notice, Instructions for Recruits Joining the Tanzania Police Force: Reporting to Moshi Police School
The Inspector General of the Tanzania Police Force has released an important notice for all selected recruits who are expected to join the Tanzania Police Force. The recruits are required to report to Moshi Police School for their training. Details regarding reporting dates, locations, and necessary preparations have been provided for those who were interviewed in various regions.
Reporting Guidelines and Locations
Selected recruits must report to Moshi Police School between September 30, 2024, and October 2, 2024. Recruits who participated in interviews at the Police Academy in Dar es Salaam (DPA) and those under the headquarters’ units are required to gather at the Police Barracks on Kilwa Road (near the Police General Hospital) on September 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM. From there, they will depart together for Moshi.
For those interviewed in regional locations across mainland Tanzania, they must report to their Regional Police Commanders on September 29, 2024, at 8:00 AM to receive travel instructions. Recruits from Zanzibar (both Unguja and Pemba) are required to report to the Zanzibar Police Headquarters at Ziwani on September 29, 2024, for similar travel arrangements.
Necessary Items for Reporting
All recruits must report with the following items:
- A blue track suit with white stripes, a plain white t-shirt, sneakers, black socks, and two blue sports shorts.
- A blue metal trunk, a round white mosquito net, two pairs of light blue bed sheets, a gray blanket (no patterns or duvets), and a charcoal iron.
- Cleaning supplies such as a rake, hoe with handle, machete, two small buckets, and a grass broom.
- Health insurance card (NHIF) or TSh. 50,400 cash for those without insurance.
- Original certificates, birth certificate, NIDA card or ID number, NIDA cards or ID numbers of close relatives, six passport-size photos with a blue background, and five photocopies of all certificates.
- Personal sustenance money.
Important Rules for Attending Training
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited at Moshi Police School. Any recruit found with a mobile phone will face immediate expulsion for violating the school’s regulations. Communication procedures during training will be provided by the school.
Recruits arriving at Moshi Police School after October 2, 2024, will not be admitted and will be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn from training.
