Job Overview: As a Plant Manager at TPL, you will oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality plywood production. You will set production goals, manage resources, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. Reports To: Managing Director

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical team and ensure implementation of maintenance planning.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality in plywood production.
  • Drive best practices, troubleshoot issues, and recommend technological upgrades.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee plywood meets set specifications.
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Mentor and manage the technical team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist in hiring and recruiting technical team members.
  • Monitor operational expenses and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
  • Communicate with management, vendors, and consultants about plant performance.
  • Keep technical documents updated and prepare periodic performance reports.
  • Lead plant-related technical projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with management responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach.
  • Growth mindset and ability to self-learn and teach others.
