Job Overview: As a Plant Manager at TPL, you will oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality plywood production. You will set production goals, manage resources, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. Reports To: Managing Director
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical team and ensure implementation of maintenance planning.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality in plywood production.
- Drive best practices, troubleshoot issues, and recommend technological upgrades.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee plywood meets set specifications.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Mentor and manage the technical team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in hiring and recruiting technical team members.
- Monitor operational expenses and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
- Communicate with management, vendors, and consultants about plant performance.
- Keep technical documents updated and prepare periodic performance reports.
- Lead plant-related technical projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with management responsibilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach.
- Growth mindset and ability to self-learn and teach others.
