Nelson Mandela University (NMU) is a South African university located in Port Elizabeth. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various fields. The university has set the academic admission requirements for students who wish to join the university in 2024. Prospective undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students who wish to join the university in 2025 are invited to apply online as of April 2024.

Health Sciences Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) NSC with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics, Physical Science, and Life Sciences
Humanities Bachelor of Arts (BA) NSC with a minimum of 50% in English
Law Bachelor of Laws (LLB) NSC with a minimum of 50% in English
Science Bachelor of Science (BSc) NSC with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics and Physical Science
Agriculture Bachelor of Agriculture (BAgric) NSC with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and Physical Science

Engineering, the Built Environment, and Information Technology Master of Engineering (MEng) A relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 65% average for the final year
Engineering, the Built Environment, and Information Technology Master of Science in Information Technology (MSc IT) A relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 65% average for the final year
Health Sciences Master of Public Health (MPH) A relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% average for the final year
