About Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE)
Mkwawa University College of Education, nestled in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, Iringa Municipality, was formally established on September 1, 2005, as a constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). Its roots trace back to 1959 as an ‘Ordinary’ level school and evolved into a high school in 1964. Over the years, it transitioned into a Teachers Training College (TTC) and eventually became a constituent college of UDSM in March 2005. MUCE is dedicated to advancing educational excellence and community impact.
