Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a high-level Tax Advisor, providing strategic advice to minimize tax liabilities and manage tax compliance.
- Lead teams to deliver on business tax strategy, compliance, and advise on corporate tax practices.
- Identify client tax risks, develop innovative tax strategies, and address technical tax issues promptly.
- Manage client relationships, understand their businesses, and provide valued insights and proactive guidance.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the firm.
- Ensure adherence to risk processes and stay updated with changes in tax legislation and firm services.
- Lead and develop Tax seniors and associates through coaching, feedback, and opportunities for growth.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage teams, delegate work, and drive continuous learning and development.
- Proficiency in Taxation accounting, tax compliance, and strategy.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellent delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Law, Economics, or related fields.
- Post Graduate Diploma/Masters in Taxation or relevant professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax-related work, preferably in Consultancy services or Revenue Authority.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in managing project assignments and teams.
