Admission Requirements

Admission requirements for various courses at Hombolo Local Government Training Institute differ depending on the level of study:

Certificate Level (NTA Level 4)

Requirements: A minimum of four (4) passes in Form Four (CSEE) with a grade of “D” or above. Religious subjects are not considered.

Diploma Level (NTA Level 5)

Requirements: At least one Principal Pass and one Subsidiary in the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or a Certificate (NTA Level 4) from any government-recognized institution. Additionally, four (4) passes in Form Four (CSEE) are required, excluding religious subjects.

Advanced Diploma Level (NTA Level 6)

Requirements: A Diploma (NTA Level 5) from a recognized institution.

Note:

For the Local Government Accounting and Finance course, applicants must have passed Mathematics in their Form Four examinations.
Applicants who have taken the Form Four exam more than once must attach copies of all their exam certificates.
