Job Purpose:
The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in influencing decision-making by working with large volumes of data, understanding trends, and making future predictions.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to uncover patterns and insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to provide valuable data and insights for various uses.
- Data Preparation & Modeling: Procure, prepare, cleanse, and model data using machine learning models and new analytical methods.
- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present data reports, and provide support in decision-making.
- Advanced Methods: Use mathematical and statistical methods to identify patterns in complex data sets.
- Machine Learning Models: Create predictive and personalized machine learning models.
- Visual Reporting: Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers for the bank.
- Collaboration: Work with the data science team to design experiments, research algorithms, and find new data sources.
- Technology Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest technology, techniques, and methods related to AI and data analysis.
- Product Development: Serve as a central reference point for new product developments.
Qualifications Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in programming languages, knowledge of AI and machine learning, good communication, and presentation skills.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, team player, excellent interpersonal skills, commitment, accountability, honesty, integrity, and creativity.
