CURRENT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze credit risk on applications and make appropriate recommendations or approvals.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and Bank of Tanzania (BOT) prudential lending guidelines for all sanctioned credit facilities.
- Maintain an efficient turnaround time for credit applications.
- Review all facilities at least one month before their expiry date.
- Monitor, follow up, and report on unauthorized excess drawings.
- Control advances under grades 10 and 20 to maintain loan migration within targeted rates.
- Ensure timely renewal of all overdraft (OD) facilities.
- Monitor covenant tracking records and report progress quarterly.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Academic & Professional
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Professional Qualifications: CPA (T), CPB.
- Master’s Degree: Business Administration (preferred).
Experience
- Total Minimum Years of Experience Required: 5 years.
