Form One Selection 2024/2025, Overview of the Form One Selection Process
The Form One selection process is overseen by TAMISEMI (President’s Office—Regional Administration and Local Government) in partnership with NECTA (National Examinations Council of Tanzania). Student placements are determined based on the following factors:
- PSLE Performance: The student’s score in the national Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).
- Regional Quotas: Allocation of available school spots based on district and regional requirements.
- School Capacity: The number of available spaces in secondary schools within each region.
