Position Summary. Communications Officer
The communications officer will implement WFP Tanzania’s communications strategy, focusing on raising visibility and supporting fundraising initiatives. Key responsibilities include.
- Content Development. Creating newsletters, briefs, and fact sheets that showcase WFP’s work and achievements.
- Media and Social Media Management. Overseeing WFP’s social media accounts, collaborating with media outlets, and producing engaging content, including press releases and human-interest stories.
- Event Coordination. Organizing visibility events such as signing ceremonies and handovers in partnership with donors and government bodies.
- Corporate Branding. Ensuring consistency in branding across all visual and written content on various platforms.
