Matokeo ya Darasa la Saba Yametoka Leo; The 2024 Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results have been officially announced today, October 29, 2024. According to Dr. Said Ally, the Executive Secretary of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), a total of 974,229 candidates out of 1,230,774 registered students successfully passed the examination, achieving grades A, B, and C.
Key Highlights of the Results:
- Overall Pass Rate: The overall pass rate has increased to 80.87%, up 0.29% from last year’s rate of 80.58%.
- Gender Breakdown: Among those who passed, 449,057 were boys with a pass rate of 81.85%, while 525,172 were girls with a pass rate of 80.05%. Notably, the pass rate for girls decreased by 0.53%, whereas the pass rate for boys increased by 1.26%.
