Job Description:

The Sales Representative will work within a defined area, driving retail sales growth, increasing market share, and enhancing brand visibility. The role involves managing retail and 3rd party wholesale relationships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through sales drivers (Visibility, Availability, Price, Promotion, Space).
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to grow volume and market share.
  • Manage a territory by maintaining retail call schedules and meeting designated standards.
  • Build customer relationships to achieve “supplier of choice” status.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve quality concerns according to company standards.
  • Report on outlet data, journey plans, competitor activities, and other performance metrics.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party wholesalers, focusing on volume growth and credit management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm), IMM, or related Sales and Marketing qualification.
  • 3 – 5 years of management experience.
  • Computer literate with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with leadership capabilities.
