Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and eager-to-learn Technical Installation Intern to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This role is ideal for recent graduates from technical colleges or polytechnics who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the security industry. The intern will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced security systems, including CCTV, electric fences, and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of security systems such as CCTV cameras, electric fences, and alarm systems.
- Support system configuration and testing to ensure optimal performance.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues during installation and maintenance.
- Aid in cable management for efficient and neat system setups.
- Participate in site assessments to identify ideal locations for security equipment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of installations and configurations.
- Follow safety protocols during all installation activities.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate with a diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Security Systems Technology.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, networking, or security systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Willingness to travel within Dar es Salaam for installations.
- Preferred: Basic experience with security system installation tools (e.g., drills, cable testers) is an advantage.
