Job Description:
The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all food and beverage operations at Zuri Zanzibar Resort, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service. This role involves leading a diverse team, managing budgets, and driving innovative strategies to enhance culinary offerings while adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of restaurants, bars, and room service.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that align with current trends.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food hygiene.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
  • Train, motivate, and develop the food and beverage team to provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote events, specials, and culinary experiences.
  • Analyze guest feedback and market trends to continuously improve offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu design, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service excellence.
  • Knowledge of global cuisine and current food and beverage trends.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., POS systems, inventory management software).
