Special Professional Licensure Examination for Midwives

The PRC has confirmed that 17 out of 47 candidates successfully passed the Special Professional Licensure Examination for Midwives. The Board of Midwifery conducted this examination in multiple international locations, including Al Ahmadi (Kuwait), Al-Khobar, Jeddah, Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Doha (Qatar), Manama (Bahrain), and Singapore.

The Board of Midwifery, comprising Chairman Melchor C. Dela Cruz, Jr., and members Lerma M. Valenzuela, Corazon F. Landicho, Lourdes S. Mangahas, and Liwayway M. Piedad, ensured that the examination process adhered to high standards.

Candidates who passed the examination must complete the registration process, which includes presenting a downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification purposes), two passport-sized photographs (colored with a white background, and a complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope. Successful examinees must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The PRC also announced that 6 out of 15 candidates passed the Special Physical Therapist Licensure Examination. This examination, essential for obtaining a physical therapist license, was conducted in various international locations to accommodate candidates working and living abroad. Examination centers included Abu Dhabi and Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Al Ahmadi (Kuwait), Al Khobar and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), and Singapore.

The Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapy Board, led by Chairman Eduardo R. Pellegrino Jr. and members Raul G. Agustin, R. Pabalan, and Roland Lyle D. Duque, ensured that the examination maintained high standards and accurately assessed the candidates’ knowledge and skills.
