Metaverse Design Thinking Course for African Designers and Architects 2024/25: Empowering Creatives for the Future

The Metaverse Design Thinking Course for African Designers and Architects 2024/25 is an exciting opportunity for talented designers and architects from African countries to learn about Metaverse design thinking. The program aims to bridge the knowledge gap between African designers and architects and the global design community while celebrating diversity and educating talented designers and architects from African countries.

The program offers a Professional Certificate Program from the African Youth Architects Research Lab and 01X, enabling participants to learn in person from renowned educators and leading professionals. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with an accomplished group of peers from around the globe. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to AYA Education Review.

The Metaverse Design Thinking Course 2024/25 is a unique opportunity for African designers and architects to learn about the Metaverse, a virtual world where users can interact with each other and digital objects in a 3D environment. The course will cover topics such as Metaverse design thinking, virtual architecture, and software development, providing participants with a diverse range of skills and talents.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be

  • profoundly interested in Metaverse Design and Blockchain technology.
  • Africans who hold a bachelor’s degree (at a minimum).
  • current undergraduate students studying art, design, or architecture.
  • college students who want to learn from AYA Research Lab and organization experts.
  • in an Art, design, or architecture teaching position in a higher education institution.

All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language or French and are required to provide evidence of this, have internet access during the program period, and have a computer.
