Job Title: Specialist Power Infrastructure and ATM Support
Reporting to: Senior Manager ICT
Location: CRDB BANK BURUNDI HQ
Job Purpose: As the Specialist Power Backup Systems, you’ll report to the Senior Manager of ICT and provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for various power infrastructure systems and ATMs. Your role involves ensuring uninterrupted power supply, managing preventive maintenance, and supporting ATM operations.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), Inverter Systems, AVS/AVR power systems, generators, and ATS.
- Manage vendor SLAs, execution plans, and project management for power systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and electrical inspections to ensure clean power network availability.
- Provide technical support for Branch & Offsite ATMs and POS systems, ensuring 24/7 uptime and service availability.
- Coordinate hardware & software installation and configurations of ATMs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, complying with standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Power systems service and repair.
- Certification in UPS, Inverter, AVS, and generator systems.
- Technical knowledge of Power backup systems and ATM support.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
